The DoJiggy Giving Program

The DoJiggy Giving Program

2014 Program Details

2014 marked our 6th year of hosting the annual DoJiggy Giving Awards. For the 2014 program, we donated $5,000 towards five deserving nonprofits. Each award recipient received a $1,000 cash grant towards their cause. Award recipients were selected based on the following criteria:

  1. Overview of the organization’s cause and need for financial support
  2. Efforts to spread the word and gain support for their nomination via Votes and engagement with social media.

In order to be eligible for an award, organizations were also required to show Proof of non-profit status in the US or Canada, and documentation of operating budget less than $1 million USD.

The 2014 Giving contest was hosted via our Facebook page. We invited organizations to share a photo, video or text entry and then invite people to vote and/or comment. This provided an opportunity for charities to spread greater awareness of their cause by exposing their mission and need for support through numerous views during the voting process, as well as social media shares.

We’d like to Thank each and every organization who applied. As always, the decision is very difficult and we wish we could provide financial support to every organization that applies. We will continue to “give-back” through our annual giving program and invite all nominees to apply again next year.

About DoJiggy Giving

We are continually inspired by the important work of our clients and others in the nonprofit industry, and have developed DoJiggy Giving™ to further promote this work. DoJiggy Giving supports selected nonprofits through the donation of a percentage of our annual profits as well as in-kind services. While we do not have a particular area of focus and grant awards where we see the greatest need, all recipient organizations must have a budget of less than $1 million USD. As DoJiggy grows as a company, we are able to provide increased support to our communities.
