Our customers have used the GolfRegistrations system to create their golf tournament registration websites below. These websites are for viewing only as they are actual, live client websites. If you would like to try out functionality (online registration, placing an auction bid, pledging or donating to a golf-a-thon participant, purchasing products and more), please see our demo websites. We also have DoJiggy’s online fundraising client websites, for your review.
The Colin Bodensteiner Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2006 to honor and celebrate the life of a young man who left this world all too soon. The goal of the fund is to lend a helping hand to students who share the same qualities that Colin demonstrated during his lifetime: a humble team player who cared about others; a responsible student free from disciplinary issues and a student active in athletics, extracurricular and community affairs.
An 18-hole scramble golf tournament follows the opening ceremony. This opening ceremony offers a patriotic and stirring opportunity to honor our nation, the men and women of our military and our freedoms. It is also a time to pay homage to the fallen veterans represented by several Gold Star families. We will have veterans play in the scramble, join the opening ceremony and stay for dinner. At the completion of the golf round a social hour and silent auction will commence followed by a brief message from our guest speaker, an invocation and dinner.
Our Annual Tournament is an opportunity to share our passion for helping impoverished in some of the neediest corners of the world. Here at Locking Arms our goal is to raise awareness & then mobilize people – whether by engaging them in projects here at home, or by involving them in one of our short-term “GlobalTREK” overseas projects. Your participation in our Annual Golf Tournament makes you a partner with us in these efforts… and together we can touch lives & make a difference. Visit Our Mission page if you would like to learn more about who we are and what we do.
This March 19th 2018 we celebrate our 14th Annual Ironman 100. Yes, you read that correctly and it is to your credit that we have achieved over a decade of lifesaving work! Together at Parkland Golf and Country Club we will be able to play loads of golf on this gorgeous private course with a constant supply of golf balls, free meals and snacks. It is a golf heaven where every dollar of your participation benefits the Ganley Foundation. Participation may include your attendance and/or sponsorship.
Our brothers and sisters in Christ across Africa wrestle with tough issues like domestic violence, civil unrest and persecution. They are challenged with sex trafficking, HIV and AIDS, how to care for orphans and widows and gender inequality. Compounding the struggle is that 8 in 10 of their pastors and leaders lack even basic training on how to study, understand, and apply God’s Word to these hard issues. To think that Christian pastors face problems like this with no biblical training is a staggering reality. It leaves congregations vulnerable to false teaching, like the prosperity gospel, and ill-equipped to be salt and light in their communities.
One in six Albertans will be impacted by a disability or injury that requires specialized rehabilitation. This is a cause that will touch most of us at some point in our lives. For over thirteen years this tournament has helped bring amazing advancements to the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, which is one of the largest freestanding, tertiary rehabilitation hospitals in Canada. We must continue this progress.
